Bio: Artist Diana Schmidt works in various media: acrylic paint, watercolors, and oil pastels. She participates in gallery and winery events, and works on a commissioned basis for individuals, businesses, and organizations. Her art degree is from the University of Oregon. Her work has been featured in books and magazines, cards, posters, and prints. She enjoys the connection with the community that occurs weekly at the Farmers Market. Diana lives in the historic district of downtown Walla Walla. Her subject matter is drawn from the people and places she sees around her everyday. Diana has westies patroling the garden should you walk by on the historic home tour, they are friendly but sometimes too talkative!
